ZAM Steel is a superior corrosion-resistant hot-dip Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium alloy coated steel sheet. Due to the effects of magnesium and aluminium, ZAM has excellent corrosion resistance, scratch resistance.
Four Major Characteristics
1）The first is super corrosion resistance. Al, Mg, Si and other alloying elements are added to the zinc-aluminum-magnesium rare earth alloy coating, which greatly improves the corrosion inhibition effect of the coating. Compared with ordinary galvanized products, the coating has less adhesion but can To achieve better corrosion resistance, under the same coating conditions, the corrosion resistance of zinc-aluminum-magnesium steel plates is 10-15 times that of ordinary galvanized steel plates.
2)The second wonderful self-healing property is that in a humid corrosive environment, the coating components around the cut will continue to dissolve, forming a dense protective film (white rust) composed of zinc hydroxide, alkaline zinc chloride and magnesium hydroxide, which gradually Cover the cut to separate the external corrosive medium from the exposed metal substrate, thereby preventing further corrosion of the cut.
3)Thirdly, it has the highest hardness and high wear resistance. The zinc-aluminum-magnesium rare earth alloy coating is denser and smoother. The surface hardness of the coating is more than twice that of ordinary galvanized steel plates, and it has excellent scratch resistance and wear resistance.
4)Fourth, ease of processing. The zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy coating is denser than galvanized sheets and has excellent processing properties such as stretching, stamping, bending, and welding. It is not prone to peeling during stamping processing.
